(Osaka City, President: Kento Yamaoka) has grandly opened “YANMAR SUNSET MARINA CLUBHOUSE & HOTEL” in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture on August 4, 2023 to increase the added value of YANMAR SUNSET MARINA. . In order to bring the charm of spending time by the lake to non-members, we will begin selling the Monitor Plan from December 30, 2023.

YANMAR is a new small luxury hotel in YANMAR SUNSET MARINA, which aims to make the most of the nature of Japan’s largest lake, Lake Biwa, and provide a higher-grade waterfront experience where people can gather and feel joy and fun. SUNSET MARINA CLUBHOUSE & HOTEL opened. The building was designed by Ryuichi Ashizawa Architects, a firm that handles many architectures and landscapes that are in harmony with the global environment. The curved roof uses natural materials such as wood, soil, and reeds from Shiga Prefecture, and when the wooden fittings are opened, wind from Lake Biwa passes through, and the rainwater that falls on the building is used to grow a biotope, creating a space for light, water, and wind. By incorporating the natural phenomenon of sound into the architecture, we have created a space where you can enjoy Shiga’s nature. There are only 7 guest rooms, all with terraces and hammocks. You can spend a higher-grade time in a spacious and high-quality space with the ever-changing scenery of Lake Biwa. At the Bar&Lounge, guests can freely enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks free of charge. In addition, you can freely use the heated infinity pool, whirlpool bath, sauna, and cold bath that appear to be connected to Lake Biwa that stretches out in front of you during your stay. Dinner is a private dining room where you can surround yourself with the chef in a fully open style, and not only do we offer dishes that make use of local ingredients, but we also offer course meals centered on “aged meat” with the theme of “staying in your memory”. . After graduating from Waseda University in 1994, he worked at Tadao Ando Architectural Institute. Established Ryuichi Ashizawa Architectural Design Office in 2001. He has worked on many buildings and landscapes that are in harmony with the global environment. Major works include Suito Osaka Mizube Bunkaza, Setre Marina Biwako, FACTORY IN THE EARTH, Kogetsuan, and SWALES. He has received many awards both domestically and internationally, including the Japan Federation of Architects Association Award, Yoshinobu Ashihara Award, Sustainable Housing Award, JIA Environmental Architecture Award, and LEAF AWARD (UK).
