As 2023 rapidly draws to a close and the temperature gradually drops, Shenzhen is still full of enthusiasm and vitality. The Shenzhen Culture, Radio, Film, Television Tourism and Sports Bureau has meticulously planned more than 150 exhilarating art events from late December to late February 2024. This captivating lineup consists of over 200 performances, 40 exhibitions and 100 outdoor cultural activities, promising an immersive and immersive event, providing a diverse cultural experience for everyone.

Around New Year’s Day, 14 internationally famous orchestras from nine countries will gather in Shenzhen to hold 25 international high-level New Year’s concerts with domestic orchestras such as the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.
During the Chinese New Year period, from January 12 to 14, 2024, the dance drama “Chunying” arranged and performed by the Shenzhen Opera House will be performed with the public at the Shenzhen Grand Theater. A spate of brilliant artistic activities infuses the spirit of the vibrant New Year, and the city of Shenzhen is filled with an exhilarating atmosphere. At the end of this year, the 200km long Kunpeng Trail, a major hiking trail that comprehensively introduces Shenzhen’s ecological resources, was opened.

Shenzhen is rich in wetland resources. Currently, Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve, Futian Mangrove Ecological Park, and Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park are part of Shenzhen, which is characterized as a “city between mountains and the sea.”
