Recruiting participants for the regional bank VC-only exchange event “Interview with key regional bank VCs #1” (to be held on January 26th) *Interview session with regional bank VCs #1, asked by key regional bank VC personnel
will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024. This is the first time, and Mr. Rei Ishimoto, Director of Chugin Capital Partners, will be on stage. *
HAKOBUNE, an independent venture capital firm, accepts part-time employees/trainees from operating companies and regional banks, and focuses on developing human resources who will be responsible for investment activities in startups in Japan.
As part of this initiative, this event is planned to provide an opportunity for people involved in regional banks involved in startup investment to learn from pioneers of regional bank VC by highlighting cases that would normally be difficult to learn about. Nowadays, collaboration between regional banks and startups is increasing. We will dig deeper into practical knowledge, including points derived from our experience as a regional bank VC and aspects that we were not aware of before.
Through this event, HAKOBUNE aims to foster close interaction between regional bank officials involved in startup investment activities and further accelerate the cooperative relationship between regional banks and startups.

As the founder of an entrepreneurial community such as KINGDOM (Okayama), he has been involved in the formation of the local startup ecosystem.
