A BATHING APE(R)︎ 2024 S/S COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS
“A” was unveiled at the runway show of “Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO” on August 31, 2023.
BATHING APE(R)︎ 2024 Spring/Summer Collection will be released one after another from January.
BAPE(R)︎’s men’s collection includes “WEEKEND CHILLIN'” and “GREEK The three themes are LIFE (Greek Life) and STREET VIBES.
“WEEKEND
CHILLIN’ incorporates the essence of the Y2K era lifestyle, music and art that are trending these days. “LIQUID” is a redesign of BAPE(R)︎’s signature CAMO pattern in an abstract art style.
CAMO” and “COMIC”, which focuses on comics that have always been deeply connected to street culture.
Bold and playful unique patterns such as “PATTERN” are now available. We propose a new street style with BAPE(R)︎’s unique interpretation. “GREEK” is a collective term for American school clubs and communities. LIFE”. We created a new college style based on BAPE(R)︎’s
interpretation by fusing elements of various sports with a focus on Y2K’s campus culture. GREEK has rearranged Ivy League VRSITY items with BAPE(R)︎-esque graphics, and drawn archival graphics with a hand-drawn touch similar to graffiti art seen on college campuses. We have a variety of items that symbolize LIFE. COLOR, one of the signature patterns that celebrated its 20th anniversary.
CAMO is also available in gold version. BABY MILO(R)︎, which uses archive graphics from the 90s, will also be reprinted in pastel colors for spring and summer.
“STREET
VIBES” combines inspiration from street sports such as skateboarding, BMX, dance, and football with BAPE(R)︎’s iconic logo and patterns to create a sporty and stylish street style. Classic SOLID
INK CAMO, a new pattern that updates CAMO with ink painting and fingerprints, has been applied to tracksuits, sweatshirts, and more. In addition to the three main themes, “BAPE(R)︎
CORE” will also be available. Based on archive graphics and signature models, we update them with utility details and functional materials that are highly durable and comfortable, and propose them as new basic items.
