The Kakuban-cho Shopping District Promotion Association (Yonago City / Representative: Shinjiro Mori, Chairman of the Kakuban-cho Shopping District Promotion Association) has been working to increase the attractiveness of Yonago City as a “walkable town promotion city.” As part of this project, we will be carrying out a renewal project for the “El Mall 1st Avenue Arcade”.
This project will beautifully renovate the aging arcade, install LED lighting, and install solar panels to implement BCP measures and create an environment that is safe to walk around at night. With the slogan “Yonago, a fun city to walk in,” the public and private sectors are working together to create a lively shopping district in Kakubancho and to help locals and people from outside the prefecture learn about the great things about Yonago City.
In renovating the arcade, we will introduce beautiful LED lighting and displays, with the aim of creating a shopping street lined with bright, safe, and attractive stores in the future. The main
