THISIS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), which operates the free Internet call service “THISIS” (https://thisis.id), is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Information Systems Co., Ltd. : Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takamasa Nakano, hereinafter referred to as “MDIS”, has concluded a sales agency agreement for the free Internet call service “THISIS”.
We would like to inform you that, with the conclusion of this sales agency agreement, both companies have begun considering collaboration between the solutions provided by MDIS and THISIS.

■About THISIS service
THISIS is a calling service that allows you to make calls simply by accessing a URL from your browser, without requiring a specific calling app or account registration. The contact information is in URL format, so if you display it as a QR code, you can make a call just by reading it with your smartphone’s camera, and the biggest feature of the service is that anyone can make a call with intuitive operations. ■About collaboration between MDIS solution “Virtual Concierge METENA” and THISIS service
MDIS has been developing IT systems and services for a wide range of industries for many years, and through these solutions we are contributing to the realization of a prosperous society.
At the “International Modern Hospital Show 2023” held the other day, we exhibited a demo in which THISIS was linked to “Virtual Concierge METENA”, an avatar-type chatbot service provided by MDIS.
“Virtual Concierge METENA” is a service that supports unmanned and labor-saving. An avatar-type chatbot responds to inquiries from visitors, realizing automatic responses in unmanned areas.
In cases where automatic responses are not sufficient, by linking with THISIS, it is possible to communicate over the phone using the visitor’s smartphone. In addition, since communication can continue even when visitors move from one location to another, it is possible to respond flexibly and continuously to inquiries about facilities, directions, etc.
