Purpose of the event
Although Japan’s quality is internationally competitive, low labor productivity has long been a problem for Japan’s service industry. Although some areas have been improved through the use of various technologies and data, due to the nature of business, there are many ways to resolve the issue.
Our guest, Takeshi Niimura, serves as the representative of Ganko Food Service, which operates a restaurant chain with approximately 100 stores mainly in the Kansai region, while also teaching at a university as a service engineering researcher and conducting practical and verification work in service settings. We are working repeatedly to improve productivity in the service industry.
In this edition of ClipLine Executive roundtable, we will discuss key points for improving productivity and management reform in the service industry with people from various industries while introducing Mr. Niimura’s research cases.
This event, which is held regularly, receives positive feedback each time, with comments such as “The content was specific and applicable to work” and “Exchanging opinions with other companies was valuable.” In addition to a one-way seminar, we also plan to have discussions on the day where you can share your challenges and exchange opinions.
Let’s explore together some hints for opening up the future of the service industry.

About ABILI
ABILI is a platform developed with the aim of thoroughly reducing “variation” and generating profits. It is currently used by more than 500,000 people, mainly in the service industry where services and operations are performed manually. We specialize in improving the management of multi-location businesses by providing comprehensive support from visualization of management issues to implementation of solutions. Discrepancies in information that occur between
“management”, “middle layer”, and “on-site”, which is the front line of dealing with customers, as well as disparities in sales, customer experience, employee satisfaction, etc. between locations. Eliminate these and contribute to financial results while maximizing human capital.
