Akiko (hereinafter referred to as Pallet) is pleased to announce that Shizuka Shimizu, Representative Director and CEO of FunLeash Co., Ltd., has been appointed as an advisor.
Mr. Shimizu has held positions such as Gap Japan’s human resources manager, Randstad director, and chief human resources development officer (CPO). He has led the way in building human resources systems, disseminating philosophy and vision, and transforming organizations, and his skills are attracting a lot of attention in the industry.
With Ms. Shimizu’s appointment as an advisor, Pallet has a track record of supporting organizational change and women’s employment for companies across the country, mainly in the Tohoku region, as well as Shimizu’s work with various organizations including startups, large companies, local governments, and educational institutions. By combining the advanced know-how that we have supported, we aim to solve the problems of even more organizations.

[Career of Shimizu Shizuka]
Former Randstad director and chief human resources development officer (CPO). After graduating from university, he joined a Japanese IT company and was assigned to the United States. After returning to Japan, he led the construction of human resources systems, instilled philosophy and vision, and organizational reforms at multiple global companies such as IT, automobile manufacturers, and distribution companies, and has a track record of introducing advanced measures. In 2013, completed the master’s program at Hosei University Graduate School of Policy Planning. Received the best paper award.
