■ What is THINKLET?
THINKLET is a wearable device equipped with LTE/Wi-Fi. Fairy Devices aims to create a “fairy”-like AI that can ride on humans’ shoulders and help humans by uniquely designing it so that it can make maximum use of the AI and software technologies that Fairy Devices has cultivated over the years. It was developed as a device that embodies the thoughts contained in the company name. LINKLET services using THINKLET devices have won numerous awards, including the triple CES Innovation Award.
■ Features of THINKLET – Equipped with a built-in 5ch microphone array, the world’s first (*) as a wearable device. This makes it possible to clearly capture the wearer’s voice. Furthermore, by combining XFE, a front-end audio processing library from Fairy Devices, it is possible to achieve clear sound collection even in high-noise environments such as construction and maintenance sites and plants, and achieve high speech recognition performance.
-Equipped with an ultra-wide-angle camera, it can capture the wearer’s entire field of view and transmit it to a remote location in real time. Because it is worn on the shoulder, the video image is much more stable than a line-of-sight camera, and it allows the user to share their experiences with a remote location hands-free.
– “Fairy OS”, a proprietary OS based on AOSP (Android Open Source Project), is running. The software for controlling hardware functions is provided as an SDK, and can run general Android applications (some technical restrictions apply).
