Ericsson appoints Chafik Nassif as general manager of Northeast Asia region ……

・Become a member of the executive team reporting directly to Ericsson CEO Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) today announced the appointment of Chafic Nassif as its new general manager and senior vice president for the Northeast Asia region. Nassif, who currently oversees the Northern Latin America region for Ericsson’s European and Latin American markets, will succeed Chris Houghton, who was appointed as Ericsson’s Chief Operating Officer in November 2023. Mr. Nassif will begin his role on February 26, 2024 and will be based in Japan.
Chafik Nassif has held several executive and management positions in various Ericsson business units and regions around the world, most recently as head of the Taiwan region. Prior to joining Ericsson, he worked at a technology start-up and held leadership roles in the European IT and business consulting business.
