* ■Comment from Yosuke Yoshida, founder and director of the “Human Resource Library”*

I have met many people in human resources while supporting more than 500 companies and running human resource schools as part of my organizational human resources support business. As a result, I have met people who are conflicted about their HR work, wondering if this is the right way to do it, or whether there is a better way. Also, since I was in graduate school, I have read many books, and I have found myself struggling with the situation in which even wonderful knowledge from several decades ago has not yet been implemented in society.
Therefore, with the desire to create a place for human resources professionals to gather, form a community, learn from books, plan something together, and support each other, we decided to establish the “Human Resources Library” in Ningyocho, Tokyo. It started moving. What started as a one-man operation has now received the support of many people, with over 50 people involved in its management. Also, through discussions with everyone, we realized that a mere library cannot provide enough value. At first, I was aiming to come up with ideas and realize them within the scope of risks that I could handle, but after talking with many people involved in human resources, I realized that “Human resources in Japan is the place I want to be the most, and the place I want to come back again.” With a strong desire to create an experience that is unique to this place, I am working to establish a human resources library while taking on challenges that go beyond my own risk.

Even if crowdfunding doesn’t work out, we will somehow manage to raise funds and install uncompromising equipment. However, to be honest, I do not feel comfortable saying that the HR library can operate stably in this format. We would be grateful if we could receive your support.
