Fujisoft launches managed backup service “Riviiv”, realizing monthly provision as Rubrik’s MSP (managed service provider)

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Fujisoft Co., Ltd. began providing the managed backup service “Riviiv.” This service is a secure backup service that uses Rubrik’s non-rewritable backup solution for ransomware protection, which has been used by over 5,000 companies globally, and adds our own operations. By signing an MSP (managed service provider) contract with Rubrik, we have realized a monthly service that can be started at a low cost.

The damage caused by ransomware is increasing all over the world. Domestically, the National Police Agency released the document “Reiwa” on September 21, 2023.
Regarding the threat situation surrounding cyberspace in the first half of 2015, it is clear that ransomware damage is rapidly
increasing. More than half of these are small and medium-sized companies, and it is predicted that attacks targeting small and medium-sized companies that are lagging behind in taking
countermeasures will expand compared to large companies that are taking countermeasures. It is also clear that even companies that have taken some measures are not confident that they will be able to recover in the event of an actual attack.
Fujisoft has now made Rubrik’s advanced cyber resilience features our own managed service, offering it on a monthly basis. By adding operations and other services to Rubrik’s excellent ransomware countermeasures, we provide a “managed backup service” that allows small and medium-sized companies to introduce an advanced backup system at a low cost.
We will continue to strengthen our alliance with Rubrik and improve the quality of our services, thereby contributing to reducing ransomware damage in Japan.
