Bornlex Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO Takuya Murooka), whose mission is “WakuWaku the World” and aims to realize a world where challengers can continue to be challengers, was established on January 1, 2020. In response to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on the same day, we launched the employment support project “Stand by You” in cooperation with startup companies. This project will actively provide re-employment opportunities to disaster victims who lost their jobs due to the earthquake, increasing their options and opening up new career paths. Thoughts behind “Stand by You”
Every time I see the news about the disaster-affected areas, I imagine the anger, sadness, and emptiness of having my life taken away so suddenly. The feelings of those who have lost family members are unimaginably painful, and the words of mothers dropping off their children at mass evacuation centers are heart-wrenching.
I can only pray that the anxious nights will end as soon as possible and that our daily lives will return to a place where we can live with peace of mind.
The name of our project, “Stand by You,” has the meaning of
supporting, supporting, and providing strength. We came together with the desire to be a ray of hope, no matter how small, for the people in the disaster-stricken areas. We would like to support disaster victims in the form of employment support, support them in making new choices, and give them the strength to live their lives again.
The logo is designed using the human shape as the motif of the word “人”, and imagines the edges woven by people forming a circle and connecting each other. It expresses how people connect, help each other, and support each other, and when the sum of those connections grows wider and larger, various people come together and are connected to projects that are “weaved together”.
We hope that “Stand by You” will be a glimmer of hope for the victims of the disaster, and that this activity will lead to the recovery of the disaster-stricken areas and the revitalization of the Japanese economy.
