Akippa releases parking reservation page for B1/Gunma Crane Thunders ~ Collaboration with the aim of resolving the lack of parking spaces around the arena ~
* akippa Co., Ltd. (President and Representative Director), which operates the parking reservation app “akippa”
CEO: Genki Kanaya) is collaborating with Gunma Professional Basketball Commission Co., Ltd. (President: Takeshi Akuzawa), which operates the B.LEAGUE “Gunma Crane Thunders”, to open house arena Ota (Ota City General Gymnasium), which is the home arena. We are developing reservation-based parking lots in the surrounding area. We will start renting out parking lots from December 2023, and we have released a special page for parking reservations from today. Gunma Crane Thunders is a basketball club whose hometown is Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. Our home base, Open House Arena Ota, is located a 20-minute walk from the nearest station or a shuttle bus ride from a nearby station. Furthermore, since 78.1% of Gunma Prefecture residents live in a car-based society where their main means of transportation is the automobile (*1), many fans come to watch games by car. but,* There is no dedicated parking lot for game visitors during home games, and although we recommend using park parking lots or paid parking lots at nearby city halls, etc., there is a shortage of parking spaces. *

DeNA SOMPO, Akippa’s sole agent, will develop nearby parking lots. This will be done in collaboration with Carlife and Gunma Crane Sanders. Since December 2023, we have opened three “Gunma Crane Sanders Support Parking Lots” and are already being used by many people (*2).
