Co-Representative Director, Hashadai Social)
■Background of the start of collaboration
Among newly employed graduates, approximately 40% of high school graduates and 30% of university graduates leave their jobs within three years, and in order to prevent mismatches due to wage and other working conditions and job content, it is important to consider how to choose a company and the type of industry.・It is necessary to acquire knowledge about the job type from the high school age.
However, it is said that there are limits to the ability to convey job-hunting know-how only through work experience in other industries or instructors working in the field with little interaction. The situation surrounding prefectural high school students is even more serious; in Osaka Prefecture, while the percentage of students not attending school and the percentage of households receiving welfare benefits are significantly higher than the national average, the internship implementation rate is lower than the national average. has also been reported.
In response to these challenges, Hashaddai Social will work in collaboration with the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education with the following goals:
– Connect with students through career education while they are still enrolled in the school, and function as a reliable organization even after graduation.
・Create opportunities for students to make independent career choices, with a sense of self-determination as the most important indicator. ・Reform the internship model for the purpose of career development. Through this initiative, Hashaddai Social aims to create a society in which all young people can choose their own lives.
■Implementation details
This collaboration agreement stipulates collaboration on the following four items.
(1) Matters related to the development and operation of career education programs
(2) Matters related to the provision of educational materials, etc. that contribute to the healthy growth and development of young people (3) Matters related to practical career education research
(4) Other activities consistent with the purpose of this Agreement Hashaddai Social will implement initiatives at prefectural high schools based on its knowledge and track record of delivering career education programs and career support tailored to each individual’s needs in its past activities.
Below we will introduce three related cases and achievements. ・“CHOOSE YOUR LIFE” lecture
We believe that everyone has great potential. And we know that that possibility can be set in motion by just one trigger.
In order to convey the message that “You can choose your life no matter what your circumstances,” in addition to representatives Katsuyama and Miura, specially trained Hashadi Social staff will be visiting high schools, juvenile detention centers, and children’s homes across the country. We personally go out to give lectures free of charge. We collaborate with approximately 100 educational institutions each year, and have delivered initiatives to
approximately 450 schools so far.

Lecture by Miura, co-representative director of Hashaddai Social ・”Job encyclopedia”
This is an initiative that collaborates with companies and
organizations representing various industries in Japan to convey and pass on the history and culture of that industry, as well as the aspirations and thoughts of the people who work there, to the next generation of young people. We will conduct industry and company research using career education time for high schools across the country.
When young people make choices, we focus on the issue that “if you don’t know, you can’t make a choice,” and by nurturing an attitude of broadening your interests and thinking deeply about your career from “knowing.” This will help resolve the problem of undecided career paths and improve career mindset.

Online “Job Encyclopedia” implementation
In addition, we conduct surveys after the “Job Encyclopedia” classes, and plan company office tours and workshops for students who want to further deepen their interests and ideas and experience them, thereby preventing mismatches and making career choices more independent. We also carry out activities to connect with the public.
・Distribution of “Textbook to avoid being deceived” and on-site lectures This is an initiative to distribute original textbooks created for the purpose of reducing the damage caused by fraud and unscrupulous business practices targeting young people, which have been increasing in recent years, free of charge to high school students who are turning 18 years old.
The book is characterized by the easy-to-understand way of learning about fraud techniques and cases of damage through manga, and explains in detail the actual state of fraud and unscrupulous business practices using actual examples, and what points to be careful of in order to avoid becoming a victim. You can also learn what to do in the event that you become a victim.
Distribution began in July 2023, and as of February 2024,
approximately 180,000 copies have been distributed. We also provide lectures free of charge to schools that request them, and this year we delivered classes in collaboration with over 20 schools.

In addition to the above, we are also implementing various initiatives such as collaboration with governments such as Toyota City and Kyoto City, as well as the “CHOOSE YOUR LIFE FES #18-Year-Old Coming-of-Age Ceremony” to celebrate and encourage 18-year-old adults who will be responsible for the future of society. I’ve been doing it.
We will continue to deliver initiatives in close collaboration with educational institutions, including the possibility that new initiatives will be created in response to needs.
