“Infinity International Academy Junior and Senior High School” is an alternative boarding school where students acquire the ability to live on the stage of the world. We have decided to collaborate with the learning platform “NewsPicks Education” in education.
High school students study while traveling to around 20 countries both domestically and internationally over the course of three years. It will be used as an important learning tool in middle school to foster thinking skills and curiosity, which are the foundation of this, and the ability to think and act on your own.

At our school, we use NewsPicks Education in our classes with the aim of broadening children’s interest in society and insight into world affairs. In addition to learning about what is happening in society from the news, you can also improve your media literacy by engaging in dialogue with your peers and expressing your opinions creatively. We hope that this will lead to further strengthening of one’s
decision-making ability.
-Background to the partnership-
Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, where our junior high school campus is located, is deepening cooperation in the field of education based on a comprehensive partnership agreement. Uzabase Co., Ltd., which operates “NewsPicks Education,” has similarly concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kamikawa Town, and together they will promote innovative initiatives in the education field.
In response to this collaboration, in the third semester of 2023, we will create an opportunity for all students and staff to use NewsPicks under the theme of “The world changes when you change the way you look at it.” A lecture was held by “. This class is conducted using “NewsPicks Education” and fosters students’ curiosity to learn about new worlds.

By gathering in a dedicated space, students can learn from each other across classes, grades, and even schools, creating an opportunity to come into contact with diverse thinking, including the background of ideas held by people living in different environments.
