Nishinippon Shimbun will co-host the Kitakyushu DX Conference 2024 at the Kitakyushu International Conference Center on February 15, 2024 (Thursday) in collaboration with Kitakyushu City and the Kitakyushu Industrial Science Promotion Organization. The theme is envisioning the future of companies and cities through digital utilization. Hiroaki Miyata, a professor at Keio University and an advisor to Kitakyushu City, “Drawing the future of companies and cities through digital utilization,” and Shisan Udon President Sato, “Improving customer value through digital transformation (DX)” by Shisan Udon President Sato. A lecture on DX will be given by Mr. Furunaga, Director of Kyushu DX Center of IBM Digital Services Japan.
On the same day, the “Kitakyushu DX Award Ceremony” sponsored by Kitakyushu City will be held at the same time, and Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi will also be on stage. Participation is free, advance registration required.

[What is the Kitakyushu DX Award Ceremony?]
The Kitakyushu DX Award Ceremony is a system organized by Kitakyushu City to recognize small and medium-sized enterprises that create new businesses and transform their businesses through DX.
Established in 2020. Through this system, companies’ DX good practices are recognized and horizontally deployed as transformation model cases.
We aim to expand the base of DX promotion for companies in the city. At the award ceremony, the Grand Prix, Second Grand Prix, and Excellence Award winning companies will also announce their efforts.
