Libuddy uses JTEKT’s highly heat-resistant lithium-ion capacitors, which are contributing to the world as existing power sources in various industrial fields and as buddies for other power storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells. It is filled with the desire to go.

In the industrial machinery field, our achievements to date include mass-production adoption of UPS, a device that continues to supply electricity for a certain period of time in the event of a power failure such as a power outage or lightning strike in computer equipment, and the performance of hydrogen fuel cell drones. Consideration is also progressing for use as an auxiliary power source that will dramatically improve performance. In addition, for automobiles and commercial vehicles, we have a track record of using modules with multiple cells connected in series as hybrid main power supplies for vehicles participating in the Dakar Rally, said to be the world’s toughest motorsports competition, as well as 12V auxiliary power supplies. The applicability of these methods is also being actively considered.
In the future, we will continue to make further improvements based on the “continuous improvement” that is advocated in “JTEKT’s basic philosophy” and expand our business to a wide range of industrial fields and diverse applications.
