The Tokyo Station City Management Council, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. are working together to create a lively nightlife atmosphere by attracting customers to restaurants in Tokyo Station and the area around the station. From March 29th (Thursday) to March 15th (Friday), the event “Tokyo Ekimachi NIGHT LIVE” will be held.

Starting from February 29th (Thursday), every Thursday and Friday night will be held in three areas: “Coredo Muromachi Terrace B1F” where people gather, and “Shinmaru Building 7F Marunouchi House” where there are open terraces and unique stores. You can enjoy performances by young artists who take turns in each area.

“Tokyo Ekimachi NIGHT LIVE” will bring together three companies to liven up the major spots in Tokyo Station and the area around the station more comprehensively than ever before. We also support the activities of young artists by providing performance opportunities. Artists are solicited from the public, and a total of eight artists from a variety of genres will perform, selected through auditions based on criteria such as their passion for the event and their ability to perform in a way that is close to the audience.
This time, we will be playing retro songs from the Showa and Heisei eras in the traditional “nagashi” style. Please spend a fun weekend with this event, which will be nostalgic for the generation that enjoys the Showa and Heisei eras, and fresh for the younger
generation.

An instrumental band led by Ryotake Aoyagi, who won the International Whistle Competition IWC 2014 and holds the title of the best whistler in the world. All members are in their 20s and have been playing music for over 10 years.
■What is “Tokyo Ekimachi Project”?
Tokyo Station City Management Council, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. launched a joint project in 2015 called Tokyo Station City Management Council, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. “Ekimachi Project” was launched. We have held a variety of area-linked events, including cleaning events, sporting events, town conventions, and gourmet events.
