Summer Sonic!?” and is active mainly in the pop punk scene in Tokyo, including their hometown Yokohama, has released their first 4-song EP “Toxic Water”. ” released.
This EP includes the new song “Make You Sad” released last year, as well as standard live songs, produced by GuruConnect, who is the bassist of the hip-hop band Skillkills and has produced many artists such as ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. Contains three newly recorded songs: “Toxic Water,” “Meat Sushi,” and “I’m Scared.”
It is a work that serves as the band’s business card, bringing out Black Leech’s unique sound of funk and pop-punk.
Furthermore, starting with this EP, support bassist Yamada officially joined the group as a member.
A new artist photo of the four-member group was also released. And on February 21st (Wednesday), to commemorate the release of the EP, they will hold their first self-planned live show “32 Balls” at the local live house F.A.D YOKOHAMA in Yokohama.
The music video for the title song “Toxic Water” has also been released. The video work has a cool and pop impact based on the theme of “water”, which is also in the song title.

The group was formed in 2017 by vocalist Koizumi, guitarist Tada, and Dr. Mitani in the light music club of a high school in Yokohama, and later in 2024, support bassist Bas Yamada joined, forming the current structure.
In 2022, he won the “SUMMER SONIC” newcomer audition “Derenno!? Summer Sonic!?” and appeared on BEACH STAGE. Actively active in the rock/punk scene in Tokyo, including his hometown Yokohama.
Based on Pop Punk, they have a unique musical style that incorporates Funk, R&B, and HIP HOP, and their biggest feature is a unique sound that is not bound by the conventional Pop Punk mold.
