Wagamama is a band formed in 2022 by singer-songwriters Ryoko, Ichiro (ex. Tokyo Karankoron), shizupi (ex. Chelsy), and Taro Nakae (butterfly in the stomach).
Ichiro’s trend-driven pop songs, superb grooves by a powerful rhythm section, and Lyoko’s lyrics and singing voice that express life-sized, realistic emotions are all part of the current cross-over of mainstream and indie pop music. The result is a sound that condenses the real thrill.
