Miura Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Matsuyama Head Office: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Representative Director: Daisuke Miyauchi) will be holding a “Food Food” event for three days from January 23rd to 25th at two locations within the Matsuyama Head Office and Hojo Factory in Matsuyama City. “Food drive activities” are an initiative in which each household brings in surplus food and donates it to children’s cafeterias, welfare facilities, etc. in need through food bank organizations. This activity was carried out at the request of the Matsuyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and aims to reduce food loss, provide support to children in need of support, and increase cost awareness through inventory management and loss reduction by habitually checking for surplus food. The purpose is to foster.
This year, which started in 2021 and is the 4th time, a large amount of surplus food was collected from the households of Miura Group employees.
