▼Overview
A group of giant IT companies that have a dominant influence on a global scale, commonly known as “Big Tech.” They are sometimes called the Big Five because of the number of companies. In 2020, the total market capitalization of GAFAM (Google, Amazon, Facebook (currently Meta), Apple, and Microsoft) became a hot topic as it exceeded the market capitalization of all Japanese stocks. Against this backdrop, generative AI and multimodal AI, which have rapidly spread since the announcement of ChatGPT in the second half of 2022, are attempting to redraw the power balance of Big Tech, which is said to have been driving the global economy. The main players in generative AI, including OpenAI in the US, are considered unlisted startups, and a lot of money is flowing into them, with unicorn companies emerging one after another.
Digital transformation (DX) is having a major impact on society as a whole, but what kind of impact will “generative AI/multimodal AI” have on DX? And what kind of players will drive the next generation’s “global economy”?
Astamuse uses one of the world’s largest innovation databases and the knowledge of in-house experts to uniquely classify and define areas that require particular attention in the growth of the global economy. It is now possible to understand what kind of future the technologies contributing to the generative AI and multimodal AI fields will envision, and who will be the players with competitive technologies. In this webinar, we will organize the current situation surrounding Big Tech, introduce the areas defined by our company, and discuss corporate value using data scores.
