Overall drama synopsis
Eie Matsumoto (Hideyoshi Kan) is a young owner who works at Tamae, a small restaurant located in the back alleys of downtown Osaka that serves cheap, delicious, home-cooked meals. Eie, who speaks the Kansai dialect well, is friendly to everyone, young and old, men and women alike. The cozy shop is always busy. One day, Hisashi Soga (Jun Nishiyama), a divorced office worker who has been transferred from Tokyo to Osaka, visits Tamae with his boss.
