Postpartum care services aim to help mothers recover physically and mentally after giving birth, and provide comprehensive support that includes maternal care such as diet and exercise, as well as breastfeeding care and childcare knowledge.
The declining birthrate is seen as a problem in Japan, and one of the causes is the social background of insufficient support for childcare and reintegration of women into society. In order to solve this problem, we have partnered with Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, which is the first destination for our postpartum care brand “Amaterasu,” which we launched as a company that has been working to create an
environment where women can play an active role since its founding. did.
Postnatal care is called “Zuoyuezu” in Taiwan, and has become a common practice. After giving birth, you will spend about a month resting in a special facility, and while focusing on your mental and physical recovery by supplementing your nutrition with medicinal soups, you will also learn the knowledge and skills necessary for raising children from experts.
In Japan, there are also postnatal care facilities operated by hospitals and midwifery clinics that accept postpartum patients. Yoko Shibata of Yoko Shibata Office (Representative: Yoko Shibata), who also produced the Japan Pavilion restaurant at the Expo Milano, created the brand concept for the postnatal care service of
“Amaterasu”, eliminating the image of being hospitalized. A major feature is that you can enjoy a relaxing retreat at a luxury hotel, and we will be launching the first initiative in Japan at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.
It is supervised by a postnatal care center in Taiwan, which has a deeper history of postnatal care than Japan.

Masayuki Kawashima, head chef of Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo’s Chinese cuisine, is well-versed in the cuisine handed down directly from the chefs of Diaoyutai, a famous place for entertaining Chinese state guests. This soup is specially made with the mother’s body in mind after giving birth. In addition to chicken, pork, dried yams, and collagen-containing chicken legs, which are often recommended for recovering from fatigue, the soup uses dried scallops, mandarin nuts, jujube, and longan as seasonings in pursuit of deliciousness even though it is a medicinal soup. It has a delicate balance of salty and sweet taste.
Also, in spring, you can incorporate the power of the season by adding seasonal ingredients such as lily bulbs and gold needle vegetables.

[Image 14:×1240.jpg] Background to the start of “Amaterasu”
■Background of our company
Our company, which was launched in 2004 with the hotel spa business as its main business, has partnered with more than 1,900 hotels nationwide and currently holds one of the top market shares in the industry.
Since 2012, we have expanded to overseas locations such as Taipei, New York, and Shanghai. We provide our own stores, product development, hot spring facilities, food and beverage business, corporate services, etc. in line with the trends of the times and customer needs. ■Creating a workplace where women can play an active role
Our company has also focused on creating a workplace where women can thrive. More than 90% of our therapists are women, and they come from a variety of backgrounds and lifestyles, including those who changed jobs from major salons to advance their careers, working mothers, and single mothers. Our company focused on the fact that there are many women with excellent skills and experience who quit their jobs after getting married or raising children and say, “I want to make use of my experience as a therapist, but I can’t work full-time.” In 2009, we developed a unique business management system that matches the demand and supply of hotels and therapists, so that employees can take advantage of their free time from childcare and other activities. By registering the date and time you would like to work, we have created an environment where you can go straight to a hotel that needs a therapist and work.
■To further support the success of women
Our company, which is supported by the active participation of women, understands the difficulty of coexisting with a career and the difficulty of returning to society as women change life stages such as marriage, childbirth, and childcare.
We thought about what we could do because we want women to thrive, and decided to launch a postpartum care service as a new business. Fund “ONE STAY ONE DONATION” started simultaneously
As a company that aims to establish a warm culture surrounding childbirth and childcare in Japan and disseminate it to the world, we established the fund “ONE STAY ONE DONATION”, which is the foundation of our social contribution activities, at the same time as we started postpartum care services. We will collect 0.5% of your usage fee and a donation.
“ONE STAY ONE DONATION” works to support mothers and children raising children, such as child poverty (support for single-parent families), day care for children with disabilities, and abuse of babies, through support for childhood cancer, and education. We will use the money to support activities that lead many children to a better future.
*Details such as donation destination and amount will be announced on our website.
