Sanix Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Hiroshi Munemasa) has recently announced that Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is working to reduce CO2 emissions to net zero by 2050. We have been selected as the holder of preferential negotiation rights for the solar power generation equipment
installation project (PPA* project). This is the third project selected following the installation of solar power generation equipment at two city-owned facilities in March 2023.

‣We will rent the rooftop of the facility, install solar power generation equipment, and operate and manage it.
‣ Installation, operation, and management costs will be covered by electricity charges from Zama City.

‣We provide an installation location such as the rooftop of the facility, and the generated electricity is consumed by the facility itself.

■Equipment operation period: Up to 20 years from the start of operation The strength of our solar power generation business is the provision of integrated services, from procurement to sales, construction, and maintenance. We will continue to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society by leveraging the know-how we have cultivated through the sales and construction of approximately 29,000 commercial solar power generation systems (as of the end of February 2024). *PPA (abbreviation for Power Purchase Agreement)
A system in which a PPA operator installs, operates, and maintains solar power generation equipment on the customer’s premises, and supplies and sells the generated electricity to the customer.
