The 69th Biwako Opening Festival, a spring tradition at Lake Biwa Otsu that heralds the arrival of spring and the beginning of lake tourism in the lake country of Shiga, will be held this year on Saturday, March 9, 2020.
The captain for this year’s opening day at Lake Biwa is Kazuki Tsubasa, the OSK Nippon Opera star who plays the role of Aoi Tachibana in the TV drama series “Boogie Woogie.” Kazuki Tsubasa will
participate in the opening ceremony and onboard events, including the dropping of the Golden Key, the symbol of Lake Biwa Opening. Further, detailed information on the entire “Lake Biwa Opening” will be provided at a later date.

In April 2013, she made her first stage appearance in “Revue Spring Odori” and was active as a young hope with her dynamic dancing and outstanding singing ability.
In 2023, she appeared in the TV drama series “Boogie Woogie” (playing the role of Aoi Tachibana, a top male actor star). Meanwhile, in August, he starred in Kintetsu Art Museum’s “Hebo Samurai”. He showed a new frontier for OSK with an unprecedented style. It was well received and was performed again in Osaka and Tokyo in January and February 2014. He is expected to continue to play an active role as a star of the next generation.
