Events for children with dyslexia are realized in collaboration with companies that respect diversity. “What can you play with your avatar robot?” Mitsubishi Electric Event Square “METoA”
Held on June 1st at “Ginza”!
Edge (Chairman: Eiko Todo), a certified NPO in Minato-ku, Tokyo, will hold an avatar robot experience workshop for children with dyslexia at Mitsubishi Electric Event Square METoA.
It will be held on June 1, 2024 in collaboration with Ginza. Dyslexia is a learning disability (LD) that causes difficulty in reading and writing fluently and accurately. There are about 2 to 3 people in a class of 40 people, but you can’t tell by looking at them, so not much is known about them. There is no delay in intellectual development, and children can listen and speak smoothly. It is thought to be caused by the way the brain works from birth.
In fact, children with dyslexia, who are familiar to us all but unknown to us, have a rich innate ability. In the hope that children will demonstrate their abilities through experiences that are not limited to reading or writing, Edge, a certified NPO, has been holding K&T (Kids and Teens) events for children.
■* Plan an “exciting” experience event with a company that has a philosophy of respecting children’s diversity! *

” was received by the certified NPO Edge. As an organization trusted by society, as we continue our activities aimed at disseminating and supporting correct recognition of dyslexia, we will also collaborate with companies that have a philosophy of respecting diversity. The first event in 2024 is “What can you play with the avatar robot?” in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric Event Square METoA Ginza. METoA aims to be a place where we can learn together about various social issues and their solutions, think together, and create an exciting future together, with the motto “Exciting sustainability starts here.”
Ginza and Edge, a certified NPO, will hold an avatar robot hands-on workshop where children can creatively imagine the future and the social contributions that avatar robots can make.
