The outdoor music festival “Mt. FUJIMAKI 2024”, organized by Ryota Fujimaki, will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Yamanakako Exchange Plaza Kirara in his hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture. “Mt. FUJIMAKI” started in 2018 with Fujimaki’s desire to “enliven the local area with music. I want people to experience the charm of Yamanashi even just a little.” This will be the fifth time the event will be held locally, having overcome the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to the spread of the new coronavirus and live streaming without an audience in 2021. In addition to the music festival held at the main venue, Theater Hibiki, you can also enjoy food made with local Yamanashi ingredients in the open field area next door. This is an event that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, with many people visiting from within the prefecture as well as from far away, as well as families.

We would like to hold Mt.FUJIMAKI 2024 with the aim of allowing people to enjoy with their whole bodies and hearts the charm of an outdoor music festival that is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of people, music, and Yamanashi’s nature.
This festival, which started in 2018, will be held locally for the fifth time this year. After two years of being affected by the coronavirus, I truly feel how wonderful and irreplaceable it is to be able to share the same “time” and “place” and enjoy music together. That’s why I would like to put all my effort into the stage of “Yamanakako Exchange Plaza Kirara” this year as well.
Above all, the music of the artists who will be performing, together with the ever-changing nature of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka, will create a special “sound field” that will only be available this year. It was a wonderful day where everyone’s thoughts were connected through music, including those who came from far away by plane, train, and bus, those who drove to Lake Yamanaka, and those who came on foot or by bicycle from the local area. My heart is full of excitement as I hope to be able to do it.
We want you to enjoy not only the music, but also the scenic nature of Yamanakako Village, the food and culture of Yamanashi, and the various amusements to your heart’s content. Please look forward to Mt. FUJIMAKI as a place for such experiences.
lastly. Following last year, admission will be free for high school students and younger this year as well. This is because, just as the music I was exposed to when I was a student changed my life, I want my students to be exposed to cool live music, and I want them to become precious memories with their friends and family. Ryota Fujimaki Profile

Born in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. He made his major debut as a member of Remioromen in 2003 and has released many hit songs such as “March 9th” and “Konayuki”. In February 2012, he started his solo career. After releasing his 1st album “Ookami Seinen”, he released his 2nd album “Nichi Ni Kore Kojitsu”, 3rd album “Kokusei”, and an album “RYOTA FUJIMAKI Acoustic Recordings 2000-2010”, which was a self-cover of songs from the Remioromen era. In February 2022, he celebrated his 10th anniversary as a solo artist, and in January 2023, he released his 4th album “Sunshine”. In his hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture, he has been hosting the outdoor music festival “Mt. FUJIMAKI” since 2018, and in 2024 it is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 28th.
