Music genre, number of people, and form are not important.
The grand prize artist will receive a supplementary prize of 1 million yen and a major debut from Victor Entertainment. The song will be made into the best song by elite engineers and A&R at Victor Studio in Aoyama, Tokyo, where many famous songs have been released into the world, and FM radio stations in 5 cities across the country will support the song by airing it.
Victor Entertainment’s audition “One! Chan!!” started as an audition for the right to perform at “Victor Rock Festival 2016” held at Makuhari Messe in 2016.
There will be no live screening for this audition, and regardless of genre, we will work with FM stations in five cities in Hokkaido, the Tokyo metropolitan area, Tokai, Kansai, and Kyushu to discover undiscovered talent.
As audition supporters, Hokkaido: FM NORTH WAVE “RADIO GROOVE”, Tokyo area: NACK5 “Kirasta”, Tokai area: ZIP-FM “FIND OUT”, Kansai area: α-STATION “AWSOME NEW”, Kyushu: CROSS FM “MISHMASH” FRIDAY” will support everything from auditions to song release promotion for Grand Prix artists.
The first round of judging is only for songs. The second round of judging was based on a self-made short movie of the song. Short movies, like music videos, freely express the world view and message of the song. We will aim for originality, ideas, and synergy with the song.
Even if you don’t have fans or followers. Even if you have never performed live. This is an audition to find talent that has a “one-chan” demo sound source even if you have never heard it before. -Grand Prix-
