“Youyo” in Izu Inatori Station, which opened on February 16th, has raised 2 million yen through crowdfunding.

development (Headquarters: Higashiizu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Shinichi Moriya, hereinafter referred to as “mdi”) has started the Izu Inatori Station renewal project in collaboration with Izukyu Corporation and Higashiizu Town. We are pleased to announce that we have raised 2 million yen through crowdfunding, which will be used to develop commemorative products and invest in facility equipment. The opening ceremony for the town’s reception “Youyo”, which aims to open under this project, will be held on February 16, 2024, and will be open to the general public the following day, February 17. *

In order to proceed with the Izu-Inatori Station renewal project, we achieved the target amount of 2 million yen through crowdfunding, which was conducted to raise funds for the development of
commemorative products and investment in facility equipment. * As a result, we received a total of 2,031,000 yen in support from 184 people. * Thank you very much for your support.

The town’s reception “Youyou”, which aims to open as part of this project, is scheduled to have a pre-opening on February 16th (Friday). General use will begin the next day, February 17th (Saturday). In addition to product sales, the facility also offers tourist
information, pop-ups, and workspaces. A workshop is also scheduled to be held in February to plot information about the town on a map. We will create a project where locals and tourists can interact.
