Rakuten Travel, a travel reservation service operated by Rakuten Group, Inc., has announced the Rakuten Travel Awards 2023, which recognizes registered accommodation facilities and local governments in Japan.
The “Rakuten Travel Award” is a system that awards lodging facilities registered with “Rakuten Travel” nationwide that have achieved outstanding results and received high praise over the past year. In addition to the Gold Award, Silver Award, and Bronze Award, the “Hotel & Ryokan of the Year” award is given to the Gold Award-winning facility that has achieved particularly excellent results and received high praise. In addition, the Rakuten Travel Regional Revitalization Award recognizes local governments that have been particularly supported through donations to Rakuten Travel Coupons as part of the Rakuten Hometown Tax, and lodging facilities in the leisure category such as resort hotels and inns are awarded. We have also announced the Rakuten Travel Japanese Accommodation Award.
