Sakura Gozen 1
A colorful cherry blossom meal to enjoy spring. For the sea bream grilled chazuke, use red sea bream from Aichi Prefecture and Koshihikari from Niigata Prefecture, and enjoy the aroma of Shizuoka’s green tea and dashi stock. One of the two-tiered boxes is filled with round items inspired by the hanami dango eaten during cherry blossom viewing. The nine items are, from the top left, corn jelly sprinkled with paprika powder, pickled tomatoes, asparagus mousse coated with dill powder, cream cheese and black beans finished with black sesame seeds, simmered taro with mitarashi, and Kishu’s Pickled plums, domestic tomato jelly, prosciutto melon, and meatballs. This lineup satisfies your desire to eat a variety of foods little by little. The other weight is filled with hearty fried Daisen chicken from Tottori Prefecture, skin-on potato fries, and a seasoned egg. Finish off your spring feast with cherry blossom zenzai. A dessert that lets you fully enjoy cherry blossoms, including salted cherry petals, cherry red bean paste, and azuki beans.
Enjoy a relaxing moment to your heart’s content in a calm and luxurious space even though you are in the heart of the city. ■Summary
