In recent years, as the use of AI in security has expanded, there is a need to update and review web application countermeasures in line with technological advances. Many people are probably curious about trends, such as “To what extent is AI currently being used?” and “What kind of prospects can we expect in the future?”
Therefore, we will be holding an online seminar titled “How Web Application Security Will Change with AI Utilization” in
collaboration with AI Security Lab, which provides the cloud-based vulnerability diagnosis tool “AeyeScan,” which is attracting attention through the use of generative AI.
This seminar will consist of three parts. In the first part, Director and CTO Tokumaru, a security guru, will focus on vulnerability diagnosis as the cornerstone of DevSecOps and talk about the front lines of security measures. In the second part, Mr. Sekine, Executive Officer and CX Head of AI Security Lab, will introduce the power of “AeyeScan”, which has been further upgraded by utilizing generative AI, based on a demonstration. In the third and final part, you can watch a passionate discussion between our CTO Tokumaru and AI Security Lab Executive Officer and CX Headquarters Manager Mr. Sekine about the extent to which AI can take on vulnerability diagnosis as a special interview.

Nowadays, development cycles are becoming faster and faster, and a major issue is how to incorporate vulnerability countermeasures into rapid development cycles. Although current technology cannot automate all vulnerability responses, technological innovations including AI are creating the foundation for high-quality vulnerability response without slowing down development speed. This time, we will introduce the overall picture of modern vulnerability response and how to combine automated vulnerability diagnosis with manual vulnerability diagnosis by professionals.
