What is Industry Co-Creation (R) (ICC) Summit?
Industry Co-Creation (R) (ICC)
The summit is a large, approximately three-day event with the motto of “Learning together, creating industry together.” It is an event that includes various sessions and discussion programs on a wide range of themes such as business, organization, and industry. It is one of the largest pitch contests in Japan, with over 400 speakers each time and over 1,000 participants in total.
This time, seven startups that are rooted in the industry and aim to reform and significantly develop the industry by improving traditional inefficiencies gathered in Fukuoka, and were judged by a panel of Japan’s leading entrepreneurs, managers, and investors. We made a presentation and the winners were selected by vote.

Comment from our representative Kusaka
“SaaS” is the gateway to success for SaaS companies.
We are grateful to have won 3rd place in the first project, which evolved from “Catapult” to “DX Catapult,” which aims to transform the industry through SaaS.
We were very happy to receive the comment from the judges, “We felt that our company has a strong potential to go beyond SaaS (= business efficiency improvement) and develop into “industry transformation.” We hope to use this information as fuel for our future growth. We believe that this year will be a particularly competitive year for our company, as the “2024 problem of logistics” is being called out, and we believe that we have gotten off to a good start. The entire company will work together to improve!
About Ascend Co., Ltd.
Founded in March 2020 with the mission of “maximizing the value of the logistics industry.” With the aim of developing a cloud tool that allows even small and medium-sized transportation companies to easily improve business efficiency and manage DX, we have created a transportation management system for trucking companies called “LogiX”.
In addition to providing “Logics”, we are also responsible for research and analysis of the actual situation of the logistics industry for related ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and support DX in the logistics industry from both macro policy recommendations and grassroots.
