The Kyoto Acceleration Program (KAP) is a new business creation program that utilizes external resources with the mission of “contributing to the production of entrepreneurs (challengers) from large companies.” By having a person with experience as a startup CxO join the team as a “virtual CEO,” we accelerate the speed of hypothesis verification and develop a business plan to the stage where investors such as VCs can make investment decisions in about three months. Through the past three events, we have created businesses that have been carved out or become wholly owned subsidiaries, and are contributing to the creation of new businesses for large companies. Event period: October 2024 – January 2025 (subject to change) *The program is conducted once a week. Secure at least 4 hours per week Target of application: Those in charge of new business within a company or those considering new development of existing business. *We recommend participation in teams of 2 to 3 people per company. Participation fee: 3 million yen (excluding tax)
