Shangri-La welcomes customers with heartfelt care for their families. Tokyo (location: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, general manager: Matthias Sutter) will be opening a boutique by from Friday, March 15th.
Shangri-La will be selling chocolate items in the shape of bunnies and eggs and sweets using cherry blossoms to celebrate Easter, one of the spring events celebrated in many countries.

Rabbits, which give birth to many children and raise them, symbolize “vitality” and “prosperity of descendants,” and are valued as a symbol of Easter. “Easter Bunny” is available in three types: milk chocolate/caramelia made by caramelizing milk, white chocolate, and ruby chocolate. These smiling bunnies that are so adorable it’s almost too good to eat will brighten up your Easter holiday.

The “Easter egg” is made of light pink chocolate decorated with freeze-dried cherry blossoms, and has a stylish Japanese arrangement, and inside is a fresh caramel that melts in your mouth. After enjoying the egg hunt, the delicious surprises inside will make your Easter even more exciting.

“Easter Hen Chocolate”, which debuted this season, is a milk chocolate shaped like a hen that lays an egg, a symbol of “new life” and “resurrection.” Topped with spring-like white flowers made from white chocolate, the dressed-up Hen Chocolate contains three types of Almond Chocolat, made from Spanish almonds coated with black, milk, and blonde chocolate.

Sakura Ruby Chocolate and Premium Sakura Pound Cake, which are sweets made with cherry blossoms that are unique to Japan and signal the arrival of spring, are also popular items every year. Ruby chocolate in the shape of cherry blossom petals is sprinkled with freeze-dried strawberries, raspberries, pistachios, and edible cherry blossoms for a spring look. When you bite into a chocolate made with cherry blossoms in full bloom, you will feel the sweet and sour taste of the fruit and the refreshing flavor of ruby chocolate.

In addition to being delicious, the hotel-made premium pound cake is made with ingredients that can be eaten with peace of mind, such as organic sugar, organic flour, and Hayama eggs from Nara Prefecture, which have about 15 times the vitamin content of regular eggs. This reward sweet is made from moist dough soaked in cherry blossom syrup and baked with black beans and Dainagon, which have a slightly gentle sweetness, and brings with it the scent of spring. It is also recommended as a gift for the new year starting in April, or for a special someone who is starting a new beginning.
