Air Closet has decided to expand and relocate to GLP ALFALINK Nagareyama, one of Japan’s largest cutting-edge logistics bases. *In addition to the fashion rental business, we are strengthening our logistics infrastructure as the needs for the circular logistics platform “AC-PORT” expand*
Air Closet Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Satoshi Amanuma) has established its logistics base under the GLP name.
We have decided to expand and relocate to ALFALINK Nagareyama 6. The purpose of this relocation is to strengthen our logistics
infrastructure in line with the business expansion of our monthly fashion rental service “airCloset” and the expanding needs of our circular logistics platform “AC-PORT.” Please note that we plan to gradually transfer related functions from July 2024.
* ■Expansion of logistics base specializing in circular (sharing) business* Since its founding, Air Closet has been uniquely building a “circular logistics” business that specializes in circulating businesses that share goods. Additionally, we have made improvements in various areas of logistics. In 2017, we were the first in Japan to introduce Yamato Transport’s API for e-commerce businesses, in 2019 we introduced individual item management using RFID, and in 2021 we started operating our own WMS (warehouse management system). (Patent acquired: Patent No. 7105347).
As our company expands its business scale, including providing platforms to outside parties, we aim to improve operational costs by building a logistics base that integrates warehouse, cleaning, and maintenance (repairs and stain removal) functions. Perform the update. “G.L.P.
ALFALINK Nagareyama is an excellent logistics base as it has high expandability as there are plans to construct a new type of warehouse, it is located in a strategic location for transportation, and it is expected to attract human resources as the population of the related area is increasing. Therefore, we decided on this location as the location for this expansion.

* ■Decision to provide circular logistics platform “AC-PORT” externally* Air Closet’s unique circular logistics platform “AC-PORT” was created from scratch by our logistics team and tech team centered on engineers. We also operate our own warehouse management system in order to speedily improve our platform. This system is based on the premise of “returning products”, which always occurs in the rental business, and is also designed to be compatible with horizontal deployment to other companies.
“AC-PORT” anticipates the possibility of wide-ranging external sales, not only for fashion rentals, but also for circular logistics operations. Specifically, we are entrusted with logistics operations for other companies’ rental businesses other than fashion, entrusted with returned goods recycling operations for other companies’ fashion businesses, not limited to rentals, and external sales of other individual functions (cleaning and maintenance). As of today, we have already been contracted to provide logistics functions for the outdoor equipment rental business, and operations are scheduled to begin in July 2024.
Through the external provision of AC-PORT, a platform specializing in circular (sharing) businesses, we are promoting the circular economy (resource recycling economy), which is an idea that balances economic growth and environmental impact reduction, in Japanese society. We would like to promote this. We are currently receiving inquiries from a variety of companies, and we are making adjustments to provide a platform that meets the needs of each company. In the future, we will further expand the external provision of circular logistics platforms. Air Closet Co., Ltd.
We are the operating company of airCloset, Japan’s first and largest monthly fashion rental service specializing in everyday wear for women. Through “Personal Styling,” where our stylists choose clothes that suit you, we offer women across the country the experience of discovering new fashion. In addition, by leveraging our proprietary circulation platform, we have opened airCloset, a
manufacturer-approved monthly rental mall where you can try out products before purchasing.
We operate multiple services such as “Mall”.
Air Closet delivers “encounters with sustainable, exciting, and good things” centered around sharing and recycling.
