Ace Hotel Kyoto (location: Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, General Manager: Shiho Ikeuchi) will open the second Kyoto location of Noma, a world-renowned restaurant known for its foresight and originality, which has achieved great success in the spring of 2023. A pop-up restaurant will be held for a limited time this fall. In partnership with head chef and founder Rene Redzepi, for 10 weeks from Tuesday, October 8, 2024 to Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Rene Redzepi will create a restaurant from early autumn, when the trees begin to change color. The hotel invites you to the world of Noma with creative course meals made with carefully selected seasonal Kyoto ingredients, inspired by the gradation of late autumn colors that turn fiery crimson and the landscape of falling leaves. It will be served at the “Main Dining” (64 seats in total) on the 3rd floor.

Reservations for both lunch and dinner will start from 20:00 (Japan time) on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. noma
You can make reservations for meals using the private link sent in the newsletter of Noma Kyoto.
We will begin accepting reservations worldwide simultaneously for the 2-person Meal Guaranteed Accommodation Plan.

noma
has opened pop-up restaurants in Tokyo in 2015, Sydney (Australia) in 2016, Tulum (Mexico) in 2017, and Kyoto in 2023. This time in Kyoto, and in the fall of 2024,
This will be the second time the event will be held at Hotel Kyoto. By procuring autumn ingredients directly from local food partners such as farmers, hunters, fishermen, and foragers, and showcasing all of them, we are in sync with autumn in Japan, and we have been working with Noma for many years. This will deepen your respect for and connection to Japanese cuisine.

Our first stay in Kyoto was the most unforgettable experience for us, the Norma team. I can’t wait to return to Kyoto to explore new learning and discoveries, reunite with friends I’ve grown close to, and appreciate all the fruits of autumn. We are pleased to continue our partnership with Ace Hotel Kyoto, which has welcomed our team as family.

In February 2017, Norma left Harborside, where it had been based for 14 years, and the following year it renovated in a new location in Copenhagen with a new concept that focuses on three seasons and a number of micro-seasons within them. We are now open. In addition to Copenhagen, Noma has held limited-time restaurants and pop-ups in four cities: Tokyo (2015), Sydney (2016), Tulum (2017), and Kyoto (2023).

Norma produces publications and various products, and also
Redzepi has always strived to openly share his innovations and learnings through a variety of initiatives, including the nonprofit organization MAD, which he founded in 2011. In 2022, based on 20 years of research and development and its results, Noma
Projects has been launched to share restaurant ingredients and flavors with people around the world.

In 2025, Norma will carve a new page by rebuilding the know-how we have cultivated up to now.
