Air Digital Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, Representative Director: Sohaku Maeda, hereinafter referred to as “Air Digital”) is a large-scale commercial facility, Ario Washinomiya, in Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture, and a digital-based exercise habit facility “Sports 60 & Smart”. We will be holding a “Spring Walking Event in Ario Washinomiya with a Physiotherapist!” on March 10th (Sunday) and 18th (Monday) using the field in “Ario Washinomiya with a Physical Therapist!”

This project was adopted by the Japan Sports Agency last year as part of the 2020 Sports Agency’s “Sport in Life Promotion Project (project to create an initiative model for expanding the sports population).” This was a commissioned project aimed at promoting health and expanding the number of people playing sports, and will continue to be held in March in order to encourage regular holding in the future. As a health event that utilizes the large shopping mall “Ario Washinomiya,” which is the lifeblood of local residents, the event will also feature Sports 60 & Smart’s digital exercise equipment and training fields, as well as guidance from physical therapists. Recommended for those just starting out on a health journey that includes aerobic exercise, burning calories, building muscle strength and endurance, reducing stress, improving heart health, and creating community among users.

Schedule for the day
The event begins with a physical therapist explaining the “walking methodology,” followed by walking in the building, followed by training support using 60 sports fields for those who wish to participate.
・Explanation of “walking methodology” by a physical therapist at Sports 60 & Smart (about 15 minutes)
・Walk on Ario Washimiya designated course (unlimited). *The first lap will be accompanied by a PT (physical therapist)
・Support for strength training at Sports 60 & Smart for those who wish to return.
・Opening of use of digital content
Eligibility for participation
Participation fee: 500 yen per person
Suitable for all ages, anyone.
*If you have a chronic illness, have received a doctor’s warning regarding exercise, or have a problem with normal exercise, you will not be able to participate.
About application reception

-We would like to utilize empty floors in shopping malls, which have become a social issue, to promote health in a digital sports space. Toward “resolving mental and physical decline (frailty prevention)” that worries about going to the hospital. Crowdfunding started- Air Digital Co., Ltd. has started the crowdfunding service “READY FOR” from March 6, 2024, with the aim of expanding the development of digital sports at “Sports 60 & Smart”, a digital exercise habit facility based in Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture.
