Kicker Ventures, an early-stage healthcare VC, WorldUpStart, an accelerator for expanding into the US in the life sciences field, and Kievit Scientific, which supports US market development, will launch a new acceleration program “Kicker AccelFit” from late April to June 2024. We are announcing the start of “. This program is designed to support Japanese life sciences and healthcare companies seeking to expand into the American market.
The Kicker AccelFit program was designed to help Japanese life science startups overcome the many challenges they face when expanding into the U.S. market and lead to success. Through this practical program, we aim to lay the foundation for Japanese companies to succeed in the United States.
-Program contents and features-
・Japanese language seminar by a total of 8 experts in the life science and healthcare industry active in the United States
・Individual guidance tailored to each participating company
・Practical sessions to support activities in the actual American market – Includes kick-off meeting, business development, VC, FDA
regulations, general affairs & accounting, company formation, VISA acquisition, law, Pennsylvania business environment, wrap-up session, and hands-on session.
Target companies include medical device, drug discovery, diagnostics, digital health, agriculture, and food-related startups to large corporations that are interested in expanding into the United States.
