The number of children not attending school is increasing
(approximately 300,000 children nationwide). In the coming era, communities will be required to create an environment that supports “diverse learning.” Manabi Navi LLC will open a “Manabi Consultation Desk” in May 2022. We have received over 80 consultations in total. Under these circumstances, we felt the need to create a “local free school” and decided to conduct this crowdfunding campaign.

The city’s first “free school” will open in Inagi City, Tokyo in the summer of 2024 (as of March 17, 2024, there are no free schools in Inagi City → Inagi City Board of Education website https:/
/www.city.inagi.tokyo.jp/smph/kosodate/gakko_kyoiku/freeschool.html). The funds raised through this crowdfunding will be used for the “opening costs of the free school.”
The name of the school is “Diverse Learning School Manabi Navi.” In addition to “Free School,” which supports children who do not attend school, we provide “various services” that respond to the
diversifying learning needs of children and their families. There will also be a “private consultation desk” (Manabi Consultation Desk) where you can consult about learning and childcare free of charge at any time.

▼What is “Manabi Navi LLC”?
“Manabi Navi LLC”, which plans crowdfunding, operates a private “Learning and Childcare Consultation Desk” (Manabi Consultation Desk) in Inagi City. We provide counseling and support for local students refusing to attend school, as well as support for general high school entrance exams. In 2022, it won the “Fuchu City Social Business Plan Contest Grand Prize” and in 2023, it won the “19th Mitaka Business Plan Contest Grand Prize.”
