Built on a highly scalable data platform, Aras Innovator uses enterprise-class, low-code development tools to provide a library of applications that can be quickly and flexibly deployed to meet any organization’s needs.
New digital thread feature
Aras Innovator builds a scalable digital thread and serves as the data backbone for digital engineering and the broader digital enterprise. This new feature simplifies viewing, editing, and modifying
interrelated items and streamlines setting up connections to comprehensive authoring tools. This makes it easier to extend the digital thread to a wider range of enterprise applications.
Enhancements to low-code development
Aras Innovator is the only PLM platform with a fully integrated low-code development environment. Aras subscribers take advantage of a rich set of development services and enterprise-class DevOps services that allow you to extend your applications or develop them yourself to address your organization’s needs. This enhancement introduces new widgets and charts that simplify the user experience and navigation of analytics dashboards and reports built into Aras applications. Additionally, advanced form design tools are built into Aras-powered applications to deliver a modern user experience for applications deployed with Aras’ DevOps framework.
Visualization capabilities for complex assemblies
Aras takes a CAD-agnostic approach to building a digital thread. This allows users to explore product data in any display format through dynamic product navigation. The introduction of Aras Advanced 3D enhances this capability, allowing visualization and interaction with larger and more complex assemblies. Aras Advanced 3D includes integrated features that enable you to explore, analyze, and collaborate on 3D content:
– Advanced search and filters (name, markup, attributes, color selection, quantity, etc.)
・Interference detection
– Analysis of wall thickness, curvature, neutral axis, etc.
・Advanced measurement and sectioning
・Geometry manipulation and illustration
・IP (intellectual property) protection of 3D data
Optimized connectivity and supplier collaboration
Aras introduces supplier management solutions for smooth communication with companies, suppliers and business partners. The new application enables controlled subsets of the digital thread and secure remote access to PLM information through a mobile-optimized web application. This streamlines communication and data sharing and optimizes supplier management business processes.
