Bakraku announces policy regarding revision of “freee accounting” corporate plan LayerX Co., Ltd., which aims to digitize all economic activities, has revised its corporate spending management service “Bakuraku” in response to the revision of the corporate plan announced by Free Co., Ltd., which provides “freee accounting”, on February 26, 2024. We will announce our future development policy.

Bakuraku is a group of services that use AI and other support to simplify and streamline data entry for business related to corporate spending, such as invoice processing, expense settlement, and corporate credit cards. It has been introduced by approximately 10,000 companies, ranging from startups and small and medium-sized companies to listed companies and major corporations. In 2023, Kansai, Chubu, and Kyushu branch offices will be opened, and the system is being introduced in various areas across the country.
Bakraku has developed a linked app through API linkage with freee accounting, and provides freee accounting users with the ability to link accounting master data, journal entries, and evidence with one click. On the other hand, after the revision of Freee Accounting’s corporate plan that will be implemented on July 1, 2024, users using the new Freee Accounting plans “Solo Corporation,” “Starter,” and “Standard” will no longer be able to use the Bakraku linked app. It will no longer be available. Since this change will have a significant impact on the operations and experiences of customers who use Bakuraku and freee accounting in conjunction, we have formulated the following development policy.
* 1. Developed CSV linkage function with freee accounting (until end of June 2024) *
* 2. In addition to freee accounting, we will promote API
compatibility with other companies’ accounting software and expand the experience of “one-click integration” (timing to be determined) *
Regarding 1, we are proceeding with development so that it can be used by July 1, 2024, when the freee accounting plan is scheduled to be revised. Regarding 2, it is currently API compatible with the Kabuto Bugyo cloud, but in addition, Money Forward
We are currently in discussions to support cloud accounting. At Bakraku, we will continue to strengthen our collaboration with various accounting software in order to realize our product vision of “an exciting way to work with a product that is overwhelmingly easy to use.”
