Our company is a member of Hokuhoku Financial Group Co., Ltd., Hokuriku Bank, Ltd. (Head Office: Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, President: Hiroshi Nakazawa, hereinafter referred to as Hokuriku Bank) and Hokkaido Bank, Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido; President: Yuji Kanema; hereinafter referred to as Hokkaido Bank). ) has developed a service that allows customers to complete the procedures from a smartphone app, and as the first step, we will begin offering the “Ordinary Deposit Account Opening Application Service.” Hokuriku Bank plans to start providing the service on Monday, March 25, 2024, and Hokkaido Bank plans to start providing it in October 2024. This service was developed using our company’s customer engagement solution “Customer Engagement Solution CHORDSHIP” (hereinafter referred to as “CHORDSHIP”), and by entering the necessary items in a chat format, The procedure is complete. In addition, Hokuriku Bank employees are participating in the development and are providing support for in-house production such as system updates.
In the future, we plan to gradually expand the functionality that allows you to change notification items, apply for a debit card, open an investment trust account, etc. using the app.
[Features of this service]
1. Improving convenience by opening an account without having to visit a branch You can now open new accounts from the official apps of Hokuriku Bank and Hokkaido Bank. The chat format allows you to select and input answers according to the instructions, so you can easily complete the process with easy-to-understand operations. Previously, customers had to go to a bank branch, fill out a form, affix their seal, and then wait for the registration to be completed, but now the process can be completed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can be done from anywhere at any time. You can complete the account opening procedure. This reduces the hassle and waiting time for customers and improves convenience.
2. Significantly improve the efficiency of bank employees’ work by linking with other systems
This service is linked to the bank’s core system. Data selected and entered by customers will be directly linked to core systems, eliminating the need for bank staff to register data, and is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency. Additionally, for identity verification, we will introduce an automatic authentication function that works with the My Number Card authentication system. 3. Support in-house development of app functions
In providing this service, Hokuriku Bank employees participated as development members. We support in-house production so that future functional improvements and update work can be completed within Hokuriku Bank.
