SXSW2024, one of the world’s largest creative conference events, was held in Austin, Texas, USA in March. A debriefing session sponsored by the SXSW Japan Office looking back on the whole story will be held this year in three cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, in addition to online. Not only those who participated in SXSW2024, but also those who are interested in participating next year and beyond are welcome to join us. In addition, a paid seminar by VISIONGRAPH, which has been analyzing SXSW for 13 years, will begin the “SXSW Intensive Lecture Series” from March 27th, with a total of 10 sessions.

“SXSW2024 Report Session” will be held online and in three cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya
VISIONGRAPH Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), which serves as the SXSW Japan Office, will hold multiple reporting sessions in April to look back on SXSW2024. We will tell you what topics were talked about this year, the challenges of exhibitors and performers from Japan, and the excitement in Austin. We will be introducing SXSW2024 in Japanese, not only to those who participated this year, but also to those who have not been there, so if you are interested in SXSW, please come and join us.
First, we will hold an online report meeting as the “Nikkei Innovation Meetup” on Monday, April 8th. This is a report session that looks back at the discussions at SXSW2024 from the perspectives of multiple observation participants, focusing on the topics that became hot topics at this year’s conference.
Afterwards, we will hold debriefing sessions at real venues this year, not only in Tokyo but also in three cities: Osaka and Nagoya. The event will be held at Toranomon Hills Forum in Tokyo on April 11th, QUINTBRIDGE in Osaka on April 15th, and WeWork Global Gate Nagoya in Nagoya on April 16th.
At the Tokyo event, we plan to have speakers mainly from exhibitors. This will be the first official SXSW event to be held in Osaka/Nagoya. We would like to invite not only those who participated in SXSW2024 this year, but also those who are interested in participating in SXSW next year and beyond, to come to the debriefing event and use it as an opportunity to connect and interact with the Japanese SXSW community.
