Concluded an “agreement regarding supply of supplies in times of disaster” with Asago City.
*Administrative collaboration bases through disaster prevention agreements, aiming for 70 bases by 2030*
On March 27, Daito Bio Energy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Takahiro Okubo), a member of the Daito Kentaku Group (Minato-ku, Tokyo), announced that it would be possible to meet the We have concluded an agreement. As a result of this agreement, when a disaster occurs, our company will provide disaster relief supplies such as food, drinks, and cold weather gear from our disaster prevention base in Asago City based on Asago City’s requests. In addition, when it becomes difficult to secure water for daily use, we provide a water filtration system for disaster prevention that can produce water for daily use from river or pool water. This filtration device will be installed at municipal schools, etc. designated by Asago City, and will be useful for the evacuation lives of local residents by keeping water in pools and water tanks available.

■ Agreement overview
– Provide daily necessities such as food, drinking water, and daily necessities to Asago City in the event of a disaster.
– Provide electricity to Asago City through EV vehicles in the event of a disaster
– Provided Tolerom, a daily water filtration device for disaster prevention, to Asago City in the event of a disaster.

■ Developing disaster prevention activities throughout the group based on the “Mid- to Long-Term Disaster Prevention Plan”
Based on the philosophy of “being close to the local community’s what-ifs,” our group aims to support local disaster prevention both in normal times and in emergencies, and to contribute to the early recovery of local communities in the event of a disaster. In February 2023, we formulated the “Daito Trust Group Disaster Prevention Vision 2030.”
Currently, based on this vision, we have set a “medium- to long-term disaster prevention plan” with goals for 2030, and the entire group is engaged in disaster prevention activities that leverage our network across the country.

■ Disaster prevention agreements such as provision of supplies, acceptance of stranded people, provision of infrastructure, etc. In order to strengthen disaster prevention cooperation with local organizations across the country, including local governments, our group has currently concluded disaster prevention agreements with 59 Group locations*1, including providing supplies, accepting stranded residents, and providing infrastructure. In the future, we plan to utilize each agreement to develop awareness-raising activities such as disaster prevention drills.
