The DCON Executive Committee proposed a business plan that utilizes manufacturing techniques that technical college students have cultivated on a daily basis and deep learning, a technology that has produced particular results in the field of AI (artificial
intelligence). We would like to inform you about the details of the final round of the 5th National College of Technology Deep Learning Contest 2024 (hereinafter referred to as DCON2024).
A total of 72 teams and 31 technical colleges entered this tournament, which is 1.6 times more than last year, and 11 teams that survived two preliminary rounds have been selected to participate in the final round. A variety of proposals were presented, including digital picture books that utilize generative AI, AI pillows, and ideas for achieving carbon neutrality. In the final round, technical college students will present their works and business plans that utilize manufacturing techniques and deep learning, and compete for company valuation.
