This is the fifth year of the Sakura Drone Project, and this year’s theme is “Mt. Fuji and Cherry Blossoms.”
We believe that Mt. Fuji, which has been a symbol of Japan since ancient times, is a place that represents Japan and should be proud to the world.
The area around Mt. Fuji has been designated as a priority photography area for 2024 (Reiwa 6).
Why has Mt. Fuji fascinated people all over the world so much? We will explore the beauty of Japan created by snow-capped Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms, and will photograph the cherry blossoms from a new perspective using the latest in-house developed FPV drone.

Since 2020, we have been working mainly with five project members, but the number of members has increased, and thanks to everyone in each area and media personnel who cooperate every year, we have recorded the largest number of 4K cherry blossom drone videos in the world. I am.

This year, I will be staying in Yamanakako Village, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture for a long period of time from the end of March to mid-April. To all the media and artists, please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries regarding collaboration regarding “Mt. Fuji and Cherry Blossoms”.

Regarding the provision of cherry blossom footage
More than 150 famous cherry blossom spots in 47 prefectures have been photographed by drone.
So far, we have provided many cherry blossom videos not only on TV and tourist videos, but also to people who are unable to see cherry blossoms in person, such as in hospitals and embassies.

We continue this activity with the hope that more people will understand the beautiful culture that should be passed on to future generations, and that more people will want to visit Japan and become more interested in the changing seasons.

We have filmed cherry blossom videos at over 150 locations in 47 prefectures across Japan. If you let us know which video you would like to use from the videos available on YouTube, we will provide you with the video material.

In principle, it is provided for a fee, but we provide it free of charge to cooperating local governments and for non-commercial use, so please feel free to contact us.

Specially produced B-Ray Disc/DVD now on sale
This is a 7-year project launched in 2020 to connect Japan’s beautiful culture of cherry blossoms to the future. We continue our activities with the warm support of many Japanese fans not only in Japan but also overseas. In addition to off-the-shelf drones, this project utilizes an original FPV micro-drone developed in-house, making it possible to capture cherry blossoms from the perspective of birds and bees, which was previously impossible for humans to see.
By changing from “watching” to “experiencing” images, we are providing a new cherry blossom viewing experience.
This project involves drone photography, with the cooperation of local governments across Japan, obtaining permission and safety measures for each filming location.
