Marukyu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hofu/President Yasuo Tanaka) is aiming to create a society where men and women share childcare and housework duties, and where it is possible to balance work with work. To this end, the “Tomo x Iku” Supporting Company
Registration Certificate was issued on March 26, 2024.

This program supports businesses that encourage the taking of childcare leave and declare that they are promoting the creation of a comfortable work environment.
Up until now, there were two systems: the “ Childcare Support Company Declaration System” (from 2008) and the “ Ikumen Support Company Declaration System” (from 2012), but these two systems have now been integrated, ×Iku’s “Supporting Company Registration System” has started.
The registration requirements are:
– Formulate a general employer action plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation that recommends “100% childcare leave take rate” and “take one month or more of childcare leave” and submit it to the prefectural labor bureau.
– Agree to publicize the general business owner action plan in the prefecture. – There are no serious violations of labor-related laws and
regulations in the past year.
